50 Women Achievers Honoured

At an age when women empowerment is the buzzword, Creative Minds came forward and selected 50 women achievers, whose importance to the society is no less than that of prominent celebrity women. They have brought out a coffee table book titled, Woman Glory, an amalgamation of the lives and times of 50 women, which was released by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya. Each woman, who has been featured, has excelled as an entrepreneur in her chosen field.

Women from diverse fields, including political, bureaucracy, industry and entertainment have made their way into Woman Glory. Organiser Narendar Kotak said that the awards are true recognition of empowerment and leadership skills. “Their struggles and how they managed to conquer them successfully with their survival instincts go a long way in proving that they are no less courageous than men,” Kotak said. Names like Trisheeta Tej, Rumana Sinha, Monalisha Dash, Soumya Kukreti and Alka Agarwal may not ring a bell except to those who have met them.
